Dr. Vignesh Vishnudas Shanbhag, postdoc responsible for the cylinder monitoring subtask (WP5, subtask 6) is performing acoustic emission testing at the Bosch Rexroth hydraulic facilities in Boxtel Netherlands. Dr. Shanbhag preliminary results demonstrate that it is possible to identify a faulty cylinder through the use of acoustic emission techniques.
