WP1.3 Using Digital Hydraulics in Secondary Control of Cylinder Drive. PhD candidate Viktor Hristov Donkov, Started at AAU, Q1-2017. Thesis defended on January 15, 2021.
WP1.4 Electrical and Electrohydraulic Linear Actuators. PhD Candidate Daniel Hagen at UiA, started on May 2, 2016. PhD thesis submitted on April 7, 2020. Title of the thesis: Improving Energy Efficiency and Motion Control in Load-Carrying Applications using Self-Contained Cylinders.
WP1.5 Energy Saving Potential in Knuckle Boom Cranes Using a Novel Pump Controlled Cylinder Drive. PhD Candidate Søren Ketelsen at AAU, started Q4, 2017. Thesis defended on August 30, 2022.
